Death of a Cat Lady

. . . and immediately runs into trouble. A young child is pushed into a pond by an unknown assailant. A witness insists that the culprit is one Tsuneo Ishizawa, the troubled son of the elderly woman who owns the nearby "cat mansion".

Before Katayama can get to the bottom of the disturbance, horror strikes the mansion itself. Madame Ishizawa, the owner, is found murdered, killed by a maniac with a samurai sword.

As more mysterious deaths occur and rumours spread of a blood-red ghost cat haunting the village, panic takes hold among the residents.

Luckily Holmes is on hand to lead Katayama through the maze of clues and red herrings. Who better to get to grips with a ghost than a cat whose instincts and intuition are just as otherworldly?
