Lift, a newly raised Knight Radiant, arrives in Yeddaw in search of another Radiant, and for the famous Yeddaw pancakes.

With her spren-companion Wyndle, she must discover the identity of the local Radiant before a man called Darkness, who has arrived in the city to kill them.

Only ten years old, Lift’s humor pairs well with the action-packed adventure, and often difficult decisions that show her to be wiser than her years.
