A Fatal Groove

The annual barbeque festival is one of the biggest events in Cedar River, with chefs coming from all over Texas to compete. The Jessup sisters' newly opened Flower Records is providing the music for the event, and the sisters—Tansy, Marigold, and Juniper—are dismayed when their widowed mother shows up with a date.

The festive mood soon turns sour when the mayor is found murdered before he can announce the grand prize winner. In a town full of suspects—from rival cooks to the mayor's illegitimate daughter—only Juniper Jessup has actual blood on her hands. Can she find the real killer before the trail—and the barbeque—goes cold?
