Tsuchika Nishimura is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator whose work is known for its distinctive visual style, understated storytelling, and blend of fantasy, humor, and quiet emotional insight. Born in Kobe, Japan, he made his professional debut in 2010 with the short story The Adventures of Nakayoshi Crew, which earned the New Face Award in the Manga Division of the Japan Media Arts Festival. Nishimura achieved widespread recognition with The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store, a charming fantasy manga set in a luxury department store serving endangered animals.
