Claire Douglas is a British novelist and former journalist best known for her bestselling psychological thrillers featuring ordinary people caught in extraordinary and often dangerous circumstances. Raised in Chipping Sodbury, near Bristol, England, she dreamed of becoming a novelist from the age of seven. After studying journalism at university, she spent fifteen years working as a features writer for women's magazines, newspapers, and press agencies while writing fiction in her spare time.
