Rebecca Yarros

Rebecca Yarros is an American novelist best known for her bestselling romance and fantasy novels that combine emotionally driven characters with themes of courage, sacrifice, and resilience. Born in Washington, D.C., into a military family, she studied European history and English at Troy University. She began writing while her husband was deployed overseas, drawing on her experiences as a military spouse to create authentic stories centered on love, loss, and perseverance.

Yarros first established herself as a leading contemporary romance author with novels such as The Last Letter, The Things We Leave Unfinished, In the Likely Event, and Variation. She later achieved worldwide fame with Fourth Wing, the opening novel in The Empyrean series, which became a global publishing phenomenon and helped popularize the modern romantasy genre.
