Miye Lee

Miye Lee is a South Korean novelist best known for blending fantasy, comfort, and everyday human emotions into imaginative stories. Born in Busan, South Korea, she studied materials science and engineering before working as a semiconductor engineer at Samsung Electronics. Her transition from engineering to fiction reflects the creative imagination that would later define her literary work.

Lee gained widespread recognition with her debut novel, The Dallergut Dream Department Store, a fantasy set in a magical department store where dreams are bought and sold. Originally funded through a crowdfunding campaign in South Korea, the novel became a major bestseller and was translated into numerous languages, introducing her work to readers around the world.
